Trash Problem in Indonesia

Indonesia throw away 65,8 ton of trash in a year, stated the director of The Ministry Environment and Forestry. Sixteen  percent of it is plastic. It makes Indonesia in the second place of the world's largest producer of plastic trash waste into the ocean. There's 46 thousands of plastic trash floats on every square mile of the ocean. Plastic trash has become the main reason of sea pollution in Indonesia.
This problem can get worse if we didn't try to solve it. It tiggers Indonesia in an emergency trash situation. If this condition keeps going on, Indonesia will throw away 130 tons of trash in 2025 because the population is increasing in each year.
If this condition keeps going on till Indonesia in an emergency trash situation, it will causes many diseases such as diarrhea, malaria, food poisoning, etc. Not only causes many diseases, it will also cause a flood disaster that happened a lot in Indonesia.
The  main cause of flood is because of trash. Indonesian people doesn't really look at it as a serious problem. Lots of people didn't throw their trash in its place. Some of the Indonesian culture is not as eco-focused as it should be. Although, the government has made a strategy to minimize the amount of plastic trash. One of them is the government try to no longer allow market to provide plastic bags.

There's many ways to minimize the amount of trash and avoid the emergency trash situation in Indonesia. For example, we start to always throw trash in its place. Not only that, recycling an anorganic trash to something that more useful helps to avoid it too. With recycling, we will produce less trash. If we  produce less trash than the last year, Indonesia will be in a better situation.
